Many people focus on talents and abilities first, such as polishing their skills by taking courses to expand their knowledge base. But they forget building relationships along the way. Don't forget this foundational achievement. They are more than the "icing on the cake" in life. They are the cake, the very substance we need to live life successfully. The most important relationship you can have by the way is with Jesus Christ. It's not about keeping any religious rules or rights. It's just a relationship!
Maybe reach out to someone this year who you have observed around you who maybe doesn't have alot of friends. Do something nice for them this year.
One Christian principle I use often is, "people are interested in people who are interested in them!"
